Today I washed Rafferty in a tray (okay yes it's a roasting tin, please don't judge).
And after removing him I spotted multiple little white creatures floating in the water!
These are definitely the harmless springtails, and I know that for sure because I witnessed them springing themselves about, leaping over the water likely 20 times or more their size.
