A new species!

It was about time I planted this (sad) little Lavender Scallops cutting from mum's plant.

This morning I stripped off the leaves below the roots that had already begun growing, and cut the stem.

I planted the main stalk in a pot of cactus/ succulent soil, with the other bit of stalk buried underneath.

I also placed the healthiest-looking leaves on top of the soil, since apparently they might grow their own mini plantlets right off the leaf. Let's wait and see...
