Plenty of propagation!

I've been procrastinating for far too long... It's time to propagate!

A new packet of houseplant soil mix at the ready...

And you can see clearly that there are two separate stalks here - one has 7 spiderettes on, and the other has 4.

7 pots at the ready. Cinnamon, too.

(I dampened their nodules/roots each time and rolled them in cinnamon before placing them in their pots.)

Ta-da! 7 new spider plants in their own homes.

In order, we've got Yvette and Xavier, Winona, Victor and Ulyssa, and Tobias and Sadie.

(I didn't photograph the mess of soil and water everywhere... nor all the dirt that got stuck under my fingernails...)

So far Yvette is clearly the biggest of them all, and Ulyssa had some very bended nodules/roots at the bottom, twisting over 90°, so we'll see how they get on!

And here are the newbies next to the master Miles, and his remaining spiderettes.

(I'll propagate them another day.)
